KICKFLIP

The kickflip is another of the base tricks.   The kickflip, like the other base tricks, is used in combination with other tricks to make a new trick   (ex. kickflip + big spin = 360 flip, etc.)

The kickflip is done in the ollie position, with the heel of your front foot hanging off the board a little bit.   You begin a kickflip with an ollie.   But, instead of just dragging your foot forward, you want to drag your foot along the inside corner of the front tail, flicking the inside corner with your toe.   The key to this trick is the flicking of your toe.   You want to try to hover over the board with your knees at your chest, watching to see the rotation of the board as it spins back around.   Then you catch the board and ride away.   Refer to the video by clicking on the link.
