HEELFLIP

The heelflip is a little more difficult than the kickflip.   The positioning of your feet, for me, is a little uncomfortable, but you get used to it.   The heelflip is called the heelflip because you use your heel, or so i've heard.   I don't know about anyone else, but I use my toe and flick the outside corner...........   But anyway back to the heelflip.

The heelflip is done in the ollie position with your toe hanging off the board a little.   You begin the heelflip with an ollie, dragging your front foot up and flicking the outside corner of the board with your toe, instead of just dragging your front foot forward with the ollie.   Like I said with the pop-shuvit the kickflip and also with what I will say in the future about other tricks, you should try to hover above your board waiting for it to flip over to the grip tape side.   Then you catch it and ride away.   Refer to the video by clicking on the link.
